Restore the integrity
of your teeth

A dental crown is like a cap that covers the entire visible portion of the tooth, protecting its remaining structure and bringing back its original shape, size, and color.

There are a few reasons why you might need a porcelain crown. Severe tooth decay is the most common — in that case, a filling, inlay, or onlay just won’t be enough to stop the cavity. You may also need a crown to fix a tooth that’s been fractured or as the last step of a root canal or dental implant procedure.

At True Dental, our porcelain crowns are custom designed to fit your mouth. We specialize in tooth-colored crowns that look just like your natural teeth.

True dental answers your most common questions about dental crowns

How much does a dental crown cost?

The cost depends on the type of crown and your insurance, but we always make sure you know your exact out-of-pocket amount before treatment. We’ll check your benefits and go over options so there are no surprises.

Am I a candidate for dental crown?

Our goal is to keep your tooth healthy long-term. Crown is indicated when the tooth has signs of cracks, weak, big cavities that has destroyed more than 50% of the tooth structure or has a big compromised filling.

If a crown is the right choice, we’ll explain why and show you everything. If not, we’ll guide you toward the best option.

Process of getting a crown at True Dental

Our team will ensure your time with us is comfortable and personalized to your needs. All our crowns are created with biocompatible materials and placed using minimally-invasive and gentle techniques.

1. We’ll prepare the surface of your tooth, clearing away any decay and reshaping the tooth

2. Our team will take a 3D scan of your mouth so we can customize the crown to your teeth (no goopy, gaggy impressions!)

3.We will send the 3D scan of your tooth to one of the best dental ceramics labs, and from there they will start the crown fabrication process.

4. The process will take approximately 2-weeks turn around time.

5. Once your crown is arrived, we will carefully check for the fit and then, we will cement the crown for you.

We believe going to the dentist should be a positive and empowering experience. Our entire staff is dedicated to helping you know the joy of a happy, healthy smile.
